About the Veterinarian

Dr Jodie Ciavarella BVSc.

I graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2006.

After graduating I was keen to move back to the area I grew up in and took a position at Numurkah Vet Clinic where I worked initially with a mix of large and small animals before becoming a dedicated small animal Vet in 2008.

Working in such a busy practice in a small country town allowed me to accumulate a wealth of knowledge and experience.

I enjoyed developing long term clients and bonding with their pets, watching them grow from their first visit into old age and caring for them along the way.

During this time I married my husband, Anthony, and we welcomed two beautiful girls, Sienna and Miley.

We had a dairy farm at Waaia which we sold in 2019 and now live in Nathalia. 

We have an abundance of animals, 

3 Ragdolls - Kiko, Raj & Mo;

2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - Boo & Mya;

a Border Collie - Willow;

And 2 Sphynxs - Benjamin & Lili.

I decided to start 4 Paws Mobile Vet in 2017 to provide a more personal service with convenient, stress free in-home pet care.

I understand that life gets busy and fitting in a visit to the vet around family, work etc can be difficult.  It is also important to me that your pets are as relaxed as they can be and by visiting them at home I hope to keep the stress on owners and pets to a minimum.
